The discovery of Higgs boson-like particle is the milestone of high energy physics. The international Symposium on Higgs in Standard Model and Beyond will be held at the Institute of High Energy physics (IHEP) Beijing, August 12-16, 2013.
This workshop will address and discuss the following questions:
How much the most updated results can tell the properties of the newly discovered particle and whether it is the long-sought Standard Model Higgs boson?
What are the impacts of the newest results on the theoretical understanding of electroweak symmetry breaking?
At meantime, how the theoretical interpretation of the results can motivate new experimental interests in a longer term?
What the experience of LHC accelerator and ATLAS, CMS detectors can be learned for the Higgs factory?
